To be attached with the Private Banking Department.

Responsibilities

• To coordinate and manage all operational matters in relation to the various products that private banking offers.
• To work closely with team members in product developmental work such as designing operational workflows, policies and procedures.
• To build, update and monitor research databases for the investment team.
• Monitor equities, fixed income and unit trust markets.
• Contribute written commentaries on the markets and investment ideas to private clients.

• Provide support to Financial Advisers and Client Support Unit in ad-hoc research on companies and market information.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year working experience in the finance industry (stockbroking, research, banking, audit experience are preferred)
• Possess a relevant degree from a reputable university. Those currently pursuing the CFA qualification are highly encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in MS Excel is a must. Knowledge in VBA programming will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Reuters and Bloomberg.
• Strong financial analysis skills with knowledge in evaluating companies.
• Sound investment knowledge.
• Strong writing ability and to present investment ideas to Financial Advisers.
• Knowledge in the mechanics of fixed income and unit trusts instruments.
• Must be diligent, disciplined, organised, analytical and comfortable with early mornings and long working hours.
• Must have a very keen eye for details, and operationally efficient to manage various tasks at the same time.
• Must be resourceful in accumulating market information.

• Must be a team player and able to work under intense pressure.
