Warehouse Operations Manager
at Farm Fresh Agriculture Sdn. Bhd. in Selangor
Responsibilities:
1. To formulate, develop, review and implement with warehouse operation and control policies, procedures and guidelines, to identify the key area needs for improvement and monitor its effectiveness.
2. To review, control and monitor stock inventory at an acceptable stock level, to avoid zero stock, and excess stock situation by setting up the target safety stock and to ensure space maximization and ensure on-time delivery of goods to our customers.
3. To perform periodic stock takes in order to ascertain the actual stock levels & to compile stock variance report for Management Review.
4. To develop and implement Supply Chain Management (CMS) best practices such as distribution optimization, inventory control, demand planning, and SKU optimization.
5. To perform forecast into production plans and priorities by develop & schedule production line (weekly production line) to maximize volume according to the line capacity to meet customer demand and on time delivery requirement.
6. To lead, supervise, and train warehouse team in maintaining good morale and work discipline.
7. Responsible for the planning, organizing, leading and controlling of all warehousing activities within the warehouse and logistic function. This will include but is not limited, manpower, equipment and material planning while ensuring strict cost control to guarantee budget conformation.
8. Ensure that all warehouse activities are performed in the most effective and efficient manners, sets targets and key performance index (KPI) for the team members and provide the necessary coaching to further optimize performance.
9. Ensure safe and secure work environment for all employees.
10. To maintain and handling equipments to meet operational requirements within the cost objectives.
Requirements:
1. Min. Diploma in Warehousing / Business Admin. with 5 years working experience in warehouse environment, involves in integrated logistics and transportation support would be an added advantage.
2. Excellent management & communication skills with strong leadership quality.
3. Articulate, firm with ability to multi-task and organize operational activities.
4. Full-time positions available.
