Transhipment Assistant Manager

- Team leadership – The head of the team handles the below tasks on top of the business process activities.
- Manage objectives and measurement of performance.
- Continuously communicate team objectives and targets to the team and ensure personal goals for the individual team member are aligned with the team objectives.
- Monitor the team KPI’s and launch necessary development initiative to ensure continuous improvement.
- Monitor team members performance and provide ongoing and direct constructive feedback to team members on individual performance and behaviour in one-on-one conversations and in writing as appropriate.
- Delegate tasks and responsibility to team members corresponding to the talent, skills, knowledge and experience of the individual.
- Conduct weekly team meetings.
- Address conflicts with the team openly and install lasting solutions.
- Training development.
- Ensure that the Team member effectively and efficiently handles the Customer, POL, POD, Port Authority, Terminals, etc for their requests, enquiries, complaints via phone or email as per the defined standard and policy and procedures.
