Responsibilities:

• Utilizes appropriate tender and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery and services meet the quality standard of the organization.
• Source for suppliers with superior product qualities while maintaining good cost control.
• To identify and maintain an accurate and up to date supplier information database for the region for the regularly purchased items
• Responsible for the continuous adherence to International Federation standard procurement practices keeping records to full audit trail standard.
• To ensure that all purchased goods are of International Federation standard and fit for the purpose and have appropriate inspection certificates as required.
• To liaise with international, governmental and non-governmental organisations and collaborate where appropriate.
• To support, train and develop Delegates, Local Staff and National Society staff as required.
• To produce regular, timely and accurate narrative and financial reports for the International Federation and for donors.
• Ensure and maintain a good professional working relationship with suppliers and inspection companies.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in relevant discipline with 3-5 years of relevant working experience
• Posses strong negotiation skills/good organization, communications, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Able to work independently and make sound judgement or decision.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens
• Required skills: Computing, training and development
• Knowledge in sourcing activities, commercial negotiations and supplier qualification
• Experienced in project tendering, procurement administration and cost control
