Full-time Financial Analyst, Senior

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide support for Business Unit Channel Finance. This requires proactive Distributor margins analysis and reporting against authorizations and targets set by Sales Distribution and Finance. This includes Margins analysis reporting by channel, distributor, category, and business type including special margins projects as assigned. You will be responsible for Distributor inventory management to include monthly roll forwards, analysis to validate inventory and POS levels are accurate and supported by beginning inventory and net billings. You will conduct distributor system audits including inventory cycle count and coordinating with internal and external audit teams. Other duties may/will include:

  • Processing and validation of distributor reported Point of Sale and Inventory
  • Month end reconciliation of Distributor POS and Inventory, compiling and publication of monthly reporting, calculation and publication of monthly exchange rates, and validation of reported data integrity
  • Working directly with distributors to resolve and provide solutions for invalid transaction reporting issues

You will interact with Financial Systems Group, Information Services, Sales Distribution, and E-Commerce staff in resolving system issues both internally and externally with trading partners

Qualifications include a BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience with Distributor related business in high volume processing. Other qualifications include:

  • strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work effectively with various levels within the company and develop close working business partnerships within Sales Distribution
  • ability to identify complex issues and be able to communicate them and provide solutions
  • self-starter, independent, organized and motivated
  • applicable experience in the development and enhancement of business processes and working with various systems
  • proficient in computer applications and systems
  • multi-task and manage time effectively
  • flexibility to travel and participate in business meetings across varying time zones
  • prior system implementation experience including Electronic Data Interchange knowledge, SAP system and Semiconductor experience is a plus
